Encore and Hardwood flooring systems have built in floating wood subfloors. Woodstep Plus and Woodstep Ultra features duel density foam subfloor material. These systems can be installed directly over a concrete slab. All other flooring requires a floating wood subfloor. See Subfloor Systems for more information.
