SPRINGSTEP II

Resilient floating wood subfloors that come 2-3/4" (69.85 mm) off the slab. Offers more absorbency and less resiliency than Springstep I. Will not reduce sound levels in the room. Ideal for all movement activities including all dance styles and martial arts. Springstep II consists of 2 layers of 1/2" (12.70 mm) plywood resting on two-inch resilient foam cubed blocks -100 blocks per 4' x 8' (1.23 m x 2.44 m) plywood sheet.

Two layers of 1/2" (12.70 mm) underlayment grade solid core no void plywood, one layer finished one side. Stagestep’s 2" (50.80 mm) high density cubed foam blocks, contact cement (or liquid nails), 1" (25.40 mm) continuous thread wood deck screws with counter sinking heads and tape or seam filler (floor patch) to realize a smooth surface. Do not use drywall screws or nails.
