SPRINGSTEP

Our Springstep Collection offers you options in construction, cost, labor and degree of energy absorbency and resilience:

SPRINGSTEP I

Springstep I is a freestanding, resilient floating wood dance subfloor that comes 6-1/4" off the slab. Its resilience is perfect for high impact movement, including aerobics, yoga, gymnastics, cheer and dance. It does not require attachments to either floor or walls. You provide the wood; Stagestep provides the high-density foam and instructions. It is the high impact wood subfloor for dance.

SPRINGSTEP II

Springstep II is a resilient floating wood subfloor that comes 2-¾" (69.85 mm) off the slab. It offers more absorbency, but is less resilient than Springstep I. It will not reduce the sound level in the room. It is ideal for all movement and dance activities in a studio. You provide the wood; Stagestep provides the high-density foam and instructions.

SPRINGSTEP III

The most absorbent and least resilient of our Springstep Collection, it comes 1-½" (38.10 mm) off the slab. It reduces sound levels significantly and works exceedingly well for ballroom, social dancing of all kinds and can handle heavy weight. Specifications are the same as Springstep II except for ½" foam sheeting. Stagestep provides only the foam underlayment.

SPRINGSTEP IV

The floating wood dance subfloor uses nominal 2' x 2' prefabricated Random Strand Board panels, with a patented tongue and groove connection system. The panels rest on "L" shaped high density ¾" foam suspension forms. It offers excellent energy absorption and resilience. Panels are sealed for water resistance. Its tongue and groove system allow for easy assemble. It is the standard for most studios and takes one-quarter the time for this dance subfloor installation.
